Magic Background

Magic Bob started doing magic on his 5th birthday when his grandparents gave him his first magic kit. In 7th grade Bob received his first "professional" booking — performing at a Boy Scout dinner.

His professional magic training includes Louis Tannen's Magic Camp in New York, top magic conventions, and training with several of the world's greatest magicians.

Later he became the official Burger King character, performing magic at several Florida-area restaurants.

Bob is an active member of the International Brotherhood of Magicians (the original IBM) since 1982, serving as President, Treasurer, Secretary, and more for his local chapter, "Ring 21." He has authored many an article for and served as editor of the Ring's newsletter.

For years magicians from all over the world came to Los Angeles to attend the Day of Magic — an annual event that Bob either produced or played a major role in for many years, booking lecturers, setting up and arranging the physical trade show, and even producing large production stage shows.

Bob is also member of the Academy of Magic Arts, better known as the Magic Castle™.
